uGet (or URLgfe, its formal name) is a download manager written in GTK + programming language which, as well as being very practical, is free and open source.

The main features of uGet are its ability to organize downloads into categories, the ability to generate queues of an almost unlimited number of downloads, it supports download summaries, etc.

Another interesting detail of uGet is the ability to import downloads from HTML files. uGet can be integrated as an assistant file downloader in Firefox, through the Flashgot plugin.

NOTE: Before you can install uGet on your PC you need to install GTK.
